Indications:
- Anaphylactic reactions
- Cardiac arrest
- Severe hypotension
- Severe bronchospasm
Concentration Guide:
- 1:1,000 = 1 mg/ml (1000 mcg/ml)
- 1:10,000 = 0.1 mg/ml (100 mcg/ml)
- 1:100,000 = 0.01 mg/ml (10 mcg/ml)
Precautions:
- Use with extreme caution in patients with cardiac disease
- Monitor heart rate and blood pressure during and after administration
- May cause tachycardia, arrhythmias, hypertension, and tremors
- Ensure correct concentration is used - medication errors can be fatal
